Rolling is an essential process for making rolled sections such as profiles. Automation of power and especially regulation in these machines requires uncommon expertise. Expertise that we at A.E.I. have developed over the years (and continue to develop!), allowing us to successfully automate dozens and dozens of rolling mills: from the roughing rolls for slabs to the finishing mills with a finished material just a few microns thick!

In particular, we at A.E.I. have developed various solutions for automatic cylinder gap control (AGC), which has tested in dozens of applications based on commercial components.

We like to consider the rolling mill to be the A.E.I. machine par excellence!
